UV-Cured CIPP
UV-cured CIPP sewer lining without unnecessary excavation.
A trenchless repair method for suitable sewer and drain pipes where a structural liner can be installed inside the existing pipe and cured using UV equipment.
What it is
A new pipe inside the old pipe.
Cured-in-place pipe lining can rehabilitate cracked, root-infiltrated or deteriorated pipe without open trench excavation when the existing pipe is still suitable for lining.
NorthForge is building around a UV-first model because it supports professional cure control, job documentation and premium positioning.
Good candidates may include:
- Cracked clay or cast iron sewer laterals
- Root intrusion at joints or cracks
- Localized deterioration with enough structure remaining
- Older drain lines where excavation is disruptive
- Commercial or multi-residential drains needing documented planning
Suitability matters
UV is powerful, but it is not magic.
The best equipment still depends on proper inspection, cleaning, measurements, liner selection and installer discipline.
| Pipe condition | Likely direction |
|---|---|
| Cracks, roots, joint issues, corrosion with structure remaining | Potential UV CIPP candidate after camera and prep review. |
| Heavy scale, debris, roots or unknown blockage | Clean/descale first, then reassess suitability. |
| Collapsed, severely offset, crushed or inaccessible pipe | May require excavation, pipe bursting or future/partner solution. |
